Integra has announced the winners of its ‘Local Community Initiative’ campaign run in conjunction with members to help them support customers and local community organisations. The campaign asked members’ customers to ‘get into the community spirit’ by nominating a local community group or charity that they believe could benefit from additional funding.
Edinburgh based charity, Richmond Hope, was the lucky recipient of the £500 funding. The charity was nominated for the support they provide to children and young people in order to help them rebuild their lives after the death of a significant person.
Fundraiser and Office Manager, Suzanne Laporte, nominated the winning charity and comments “This additional funding will help us to purchase new equipment that will enable us to present to groups of people in order to raise awareness of the needs of bereaved children. We are delighted to have been nominated and to have been selected to receive this donation.”
Integra Member, Graeme Scobbie of Imaging Supplies Ltd, adds, “This campaign has been a great opportunity for us to support our local community. The Initiative campaign is supported by Initiative Office Products and we are delighted to be able to give something back to our valued customers.”
Gillian McDonald, who nominated the Tiny Lives Trust, a charity that supports sick and newborn babies and their families, was also selected in the prize draw to win £250 of Love2Shop vouchers as a thank you for nominating.
Members are encouraged to get customers involved in the Initiative campaign which will run until the end of 2017 for a chance to help support a local community group.
