2020 HASN’T PROVIDED MANY CHANCES FOR THE INDUSTRY TO COME TOGETHER, NETWORK AND CONNECT
Teams have often been working remotely and understandably all businesses efforts have been focused on pivoting business models and protecting their teams.
BOSS want to address this and give the industry a chance to gather together, as an industry, for one evening to recognise their colleagues, leaders and friends in the sector who have excelled throughout the last 7 months.
We all have individuals in our teams who have given their all, regardless of having additional pressures of home-schooling, noisy flatmates and less than desirable working conditions.
Then there are the leaders who moved swiftly into crisis mode and put on a brave face every day to lead and support their teams and/or communities.
This year’s awards are slightly different to the usual, but then 2020 has been a very different year. Joining together to celebrate people and giving you the chance to nominate those you feel deserve to be recognised. BOSS look forward to everyone coming together on the 26th of November to chat to old friends and connect with new ones.

This award is for the team that has worked together effectively and efficiently to improve the service/product that they offer to customers or colleagues throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
This award is for employers that have created a stimulating and supportive work environment for their staff and demonstrated a commitment to their mental well-being throughout 2020 and the COVID-19 pandemic.
This award will be given to a business leader (director, company owner, founder, Chairman, Board member) that has made an outstanding contribution to their company and/or the business supplies industry throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
This award is for managers or directors that have created a stimulating and supportive work environment for their team and demonstrated a commitment to their welfare.
This award is for individuals or companies working in the industry who help to develop communities by bringing together those in their company, their local community or individuals throughout the industry.
This company or individual will have raised a substantial amount of money for their chosen charity or organisation. This money will have benefited the local community, the industry or a National Charity.
This will be awarded by the BOSS Training Team to an apprentice who is currently partaking in a BOSS Apprenticeship.
This award will be given to an individual that has either faced great adversity or a challenging environment personally or in the workplace throughout the pandemic but has performed admirably despite challenges. Or, has taken it upon themselves to accept additional responsibility or go the extra mile throughout the pandemic and has shown themselves as inspiration to their teams and colleagues.
This award is for an individual who has accelerated their career during 2020.
Do you have a new product that you launched during the COVID-19 pandemic? Open to all product manufacturers/suppliers to the industry, regardless of size of company.
The BOSS Business Supplies Charity has launched a future fund to support up and coming individuals in the industry who may need financial support at this time.
