AIDAN MCDONOUGH WINS EOPA 2026 – INDUSTRY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

Congratulations to BLOC Chairman, Aidan McDonough, who was among the winners of the European Office Products Awards (EOPA), announced during a Presentation Dinner at the Hotel Okura in Amsterdam on 10 March 2026.

Aidan picked up the Industry Achievement award in recognition of a career defined by high-impact roles, consistent delivery and lasting influence. The EOPA judges panel highlighted his versatility and resilience in navigating complex challenges across multiple organisations, as well as the breadth of his contribution not only within the businesses he has served, but across the wider industry.

Standing out in a highly competitive field, the judges also highlighted his reputation as a respected role model and mentor, whose leadership continues to inspire both peers and emerging talent.

On his award Aidan comments “I’m delighted to receive this award and appreciated the kind words on the evening. Whilst leadership is important it’s also about building a great team and having the right people around you. My role was always about empowering people to drive change and be the best they can be.  I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the most dedicated and passionate professionals in our sector over the last 32 years and this award is also for them – particularly those at Integra, BLOC, BOSS, BPGI and most recently EVO group. On a final note, thank you to OPI and the judging panel for presenting me with this prestigious award and for a fantastic event!”

Marking a quarter of a century of recognising excellence in the business supplies industry, the annual EOPA were once again presented as part of OPI Partnership – which brought together senior executives from Europe’s reseller and vendor communities for strategic one-to-one meetings.

The EOPA 2026 Presentation Dinner welcomed leading industry figures from across Europe – a memorable evening for all and a fantastic opportunity to strengthen existing business relationships and forge new connections!
