BLOC Launches New Operating Cost Audit

BLOC is helping members take a closer look at the indirect costs of running their business with the introduction of BLOC Audit, a new service designed to uncover savings, improve efficiencies and profitability.

While BLOC already helps members achieve savings on the cost of products they buy, BLOC Audit focuses on the wider indirect operating costs that can be harder to monitor and manage – and where there may be untapped profit opportunities.

Delivered in partnership with Auditel, BLOC Audit gives access to commercial expertise to analyse their current arrangements, identify potential improvements and secure better costs, service levels and commercial terms.

The process starts with an initial conversation followed by a detailed review, and where agreed, support with supplier negotiations and implementation. Members remain in control throughout, with Auditel providing the specialist expertise and commercial resource to manage the process.

BLOC Audit covers a wide range of business costs including logistics, payment solutions, energy, waste management, telecoms and connectivity, fleet and fuel to name just a few.

As well as identifying potential savings, the service can help improve efficiency, strengthen commercial terms and reduce the internal time and resource needed to manage complex areas of indirect spend.
